Of course, if you blog about it it will happen again: “I thought they only made them that tall in Texas!” said the woman in the elevator with us this afternoon.
At least she gets points for originality. Texas? Why Texas?
‘Everything’s bigger in Texas.’
It is very much a Texas stereotype that things are bigger there than elsewhere.
I guess it shows you have to be careful with your tall person jokes: not only might the tall person not get them, they might not even get near them.
Definitely in the category of a one-way conversation too (she did expect a reply). “Wow, I thought they only made them that average-sized in Australia”?
